A visit to Tate Modern
Recently I was lucky enough to pay Tate Modern a visit, and explore the wonderful artwork that it holds. Since I have not been able to go to the Tate for a while now, I was more than happy that I got this opportunity.
Here are some pieces of work that I enjoyed and found inspiring while at the Tate.
Since my first ever time visiting the Tate and its artwork, which was in 2016 during completing my GCSEs, I have come to appreciate the gallery and the work there more and more. Some of the pieces I saw there yesterday were new tome, while others I've seen a couple of times before. Nevertheless, being there, and seeing the work filled me with many different feelings and emotions. Nostalgia, bringing me back to the first ever time being there. Excitement and inspiration, filling me with motivation to create something of my own. Happiness and gratitude to be back there. Going to art galleries is something I really enjoy doing, not only to find inspiration and for my next project at college, or to find artists who could potentially influence future artwork I create, but for myself, and to find purpose to continue to create and express myself.
